AWESOME ALBUM ARTWORK

note: the word “awesome” is used really loosely.

1979’s Keep The Fire by Kenny Loggins.

This album was produced by the very cool, Tom Dowd.

The artwork was conceived by the very high, Scott Thom and a visual artist that goes by the name “Ken Loggins.”

Possibility #1- There was, and possibly still is, a visual concept artist with the given name, Ken Loggins who is not at all related to Kenny Loggins, but, through some amazing twist of fate was asked to do the artwork for this record without Kenny Loggins registering a complaint.

Possibility #2- Kenny Loggins thought it might seem like he was too much of a control freak if he was doing every job on the record and not delegating.  So he delegated it to another self of his own.

now for the back cover…

guy on far right : “HEY KENNY!  MR. KENNY LOGGINS SIR!?  OH SORRY, KEN!   KEN, I HAD EVERYBODY UNBUTTON THEIR TOP THREE BUTTONS LIKE YOU ASKED! I THINK WE’RE READY TO REALLY SOFTLY ROCK!
